This is a two teir birthday cake I did for our label guy's daughter. The cake is vanilla with both vanilla and chocolate buttercream and fondant accents.

Beautiful. Question What Fondant do you use? I have been using the Wilton's fondant and have not liked the taste.

I know you didn't ask me but if you use wiltons fondant and you want it to taste better then put some type of flavoring in it and knead in really well and it makes it taste much better.

Also you can make marshmallow fondant thats pretty good. [link] (recipe)

Well thank you so much. I have just started decorating cakes and I am always asking questions because I can seem to find a good class or book that helps. I have just sorta been winging it.

The Wilton classes are pretty good if you want the basics. But thats the only one that I know of.
