22nd bday alice in wonderlandby ~see-through-silence

Vanilla cake with chocolate whippedcream frosting decorated with fondant, gumpaste, and buttercream for my early 22nd birthday!

This piece immediately caught my eye due to the varying degrees of height found in the piece. The head of the mushroom is obviously a heavy piece and yet the artist found a way to support it's frame without taking away from the delicate simplicity of the mushroom!

The individually crafted flowers and toadstools are impressive with the roses and daisies both displaying expert craftsmanship. Lastly we come to Alice with her legs crossed at the ankle like a good child and fer dress lazily laying across her lap. Of all the details in this piece the folds of the dress and underlying petticoat are wonderfully and thoughtfully crafted.

Superb and an excellent piece!
